Prosperous Software Movement

We propose that we need a new phase of software, called the Prosperous Software Movement, with the goal of enabling all the value creators in the economy to financially benefit from the prosperity they helped create. At the heart of this proposal is the intention of revenue-sharing. The mechanism behind PPL is simple: if you use PPL-licensed software in your stack and you make over $X in annual revenue, you must share Y% of your revenue back to your dependencies.
